Roberta C. "Bobbie" Gregory of Riverton died on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, after a brief illness, while a resident of Wind River Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was 71. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Roberta Claire Cauffman was born on Aug. 27, 1940, to Mark Richard Cauffman and Francis Amelia (O'Shea) Cauffman in Minneapolis, Minn. The family lived in Minneapolis until she was in the sixth or seventh grade, at which time they moved to Rawlins. She was graduated from Rawlins High School in 1959 and married Robert "Bob" Gregory of Hanna in September of 1959. They later divorced. Mrs. Gregory made her home in Rawlins, Riverton, and Cheyenne. In her younger years, Mrs. Gregory was active in Jaycees and other civic activities. Her family said she had a great love for animals, often working with the Humane Society in her area. While living in Riverton, Mrs. Gregory attended Central Wyoming College, received an AA in journalism. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Cheyenne to continue attending college and was graduated with an additional AA degree as a para-legal. Mrs. Gregory is survived by her children, Veronica Roemmich and her husband Rusty of Riverton, Todd Gregory and his wife Amy of Centennial, Colo., Bonnie Hebert and her husband James of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., LeAnn Gregory of Cheyenne, and Pamela Gregory of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Vicki Davis of Lander, Katherine Davis of Jacksonville, Fla., Jim Coca of Fort Collins, Colo., Ashley Coca and Gracie Gregory of Centennial, Colo., Hannah Gregory of Fort Collins, Colo., Tajah Gregory and Keelee Gregory of Centennial, Colo., Jennifer Gregory of Aurora, Colo., and Erin Reed of Denver, Colo.; great grandchildren, Quirinita Jo and Seder Ann Sisneros, and Quint Reed of Denver, Colo.
