Ethel T. Chalcraft, 76, of Riverton died Wednesday afternoon, September 12, 2007 at Riverton Memorial Hospital.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Ethel Theresa Stapish was born October 8, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Eugene and Alice G. (Stoner) Stapish. She grew up in Michigan leaving the state when she was 20. Ms. Stapish enjoyed traveling from state to state until she met her future husband James F. Chalcraft in Mills, Wyoming. They were married on November 8, 1969 in Dubois, Wyoming.

Mrs. Chalcraft was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed crafts, making dolls, upholstering, and appreciated family visits.

She is survived by step-son, Randy Chalcraft; six step-daughters, Sandy Williams, Connie Stalter, Bonnie Strickland, Tina Stagner, Diane chalcraft, and Bonnie Nelson; one brother, John Stapish and wife Jeanette “Jan” of Brooklyn, Michigan; sister, Patricia Tiytye and husband George of Tacumsa Michigan; dear friend, Mike Franks; and many friends at Sertoma Sempiternal Senior Housing.

She was preceded in death by her husband on October 19, 1991, four brothers, three sisters, and granddaughter, Sydney Stagner.
