Graveside services for Cady Marie Hammers, 17, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Dubois Cemetery in Dubois, Wyoming with Pastor Rex Whitman of the 1st Baptist Church officiating. A visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4th at Davis Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the Western Fremont Co. Humane Society in care of Davis Funeral Home.
Cady was born September 17, 1995, in Billings, Montana. In 1999, her family moved from Sheridan to Dubois.
Cady loved the ocean, and enjoyed spending time in the mountains and outdoors, elk hunting, fishing, cutting wood, 4-wheeling and just going on rides. She also enjoyed traveling with her family. Cady loved her bedroom, her cat, Sassy, ferret, Tuffy, and her two dogs, Done and Snoopy.
Survivors include her parents, Sam and Mary Hammers of Dubois; biological mother, Catherine and her husband, BJ Sedillo of Cimarron, New Mexico; brother, Justin Sedillo and sister, Abigail Sedillo both of Cimarron, NM; uncle, Clint Hammers of Gillette, Wy; Great Aunts, Shannon Fivecoat of Albuquerque, NM and Rosie Hedlund of Moorecroft, WY, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
