Edmund E. Becker of Riverton died on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, in Fort Collins, Colo. He was 87 years old.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Riverton with the Rev. Father Drew Duncan officiating.

Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton. Military honors will be by the Wyoming Army National Guard.

There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.

Edmund E. Becker was born in Goldtry, Okla., the son of Henry and Bertha Becker. He grew up in Oklahoma, moving to Riverton in _______.

Mr. Becker was a retired field foreman for Amoco Oil Co.

He had served with the U.S. military during World War II.

On May 5, 1948, he married Helen Appelhans in Riverton.

Mr. Becker was a member of the Catholic faith.

His family said he enjoyed tinkering with his lawn ????, spending time with his grandchildren, and reading newspapers.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Becker and his wife Roni, and Robert Becker and his wife Sandy, all of Riverton ????; daughters, Sandra Becker, Cheri Newell and her husband Todd, Mary Wawrziniack, and Janice Martinez and her husband Lloyd of ????; nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Becker of _______; sister, Lois Taylor of ______.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Becker; son-in-law, Paul Wawrziniack; parents, Henry and Bertha Becker, and brother, Elmer Becker.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
