Funeral services for Patricia Rose Hancock, 76, will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Case officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Help for Health Hospice home in care of Davis Funeral Home.
She died March 3, 2014 at the Riverton Memorial Hospital.
Patricia was born October 2, 1937, in Lander, Wyoming, daughter of Samuel I. and Irma (Williams) Hancock. She remained in Fremont County her entire life. Patricia attended school at Red Canyon up until 8th grade.
Her family said that Patricia was Christian and attended church when she could. She also enjoyed horses, working crossword puzzles and living the cowboy way.
Survivors include her son, Sam Ballard, daughters, Sandra Wright and Jessie Venable; sister, Edna Bringolf; 11 grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill, John and Sam Hancock and sister, Arminta Roberts.
