Services for David E. “Lips” Pulver, 61, will begin with a Memorial Ride at 12 noon, Sunday, July 27, 2014 starting at the Eagles Club with a Celebration of his Life at 3:00 p.m. also at the Eagles Club. Cremation has taken place.
He died July 18, 2014 at Sagewest Health Care in Lander, Wyoming.
He was born September 10, 1952, in Wheatland, Wyoming, son of James Richard and Minnie A. (Blanton) Pulver. The family soon moved to Riverton where Lips graduated from Riverton High School in 1970.
On June 20, 1971, he married Debbie DeLorme in Riverton, Wyoming.
Lips worked as a driller in the oil fields for many years and also worked as a bartender for 25 years at Cedar Bar.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golf, partying with his friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife of St. Stephens, 3 sons, David J. (daughter outlaw, Christion) Pulver of St. Stephens, James Pulver of Riverton, and Charlie Baldes of Riverton; daughter, Tracy Pulver of St. Stephens; grandchildren, Brandy Lane, Drey Pulver, Rylie Merta, Jeremy Merta, and David Pulver, Jr.; brothers, Sonny (Lauri) Pulver of Cheyenne, Rick Gadbaw of Cheyenne; sisters, Brenda Pulver of Douglas and Kerri Olson of Cheyenne; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pulver was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Pulver, sisters, Sharon Pulver Johnson and Jamie Pulver; great granddaughter Aubriena Lea Short; his Bros, William Bill “Hutch” Hutchins, Danny Johnson, Sam Johnson, Doc Markhart, Owen Westlake, Zane Lobdell and many other brothers.
