Helen Marie Richardson, 67, of Pavillion died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie. A celebration of her life will be held at a date to be announced.

Helen Marie Richardson was born October 3, 1947 in Riverton, Wyoming to Leo John and Elsie Sylvia (Welton) Glaser. She graduated from Pavillion High School and graduated from Central Wyoming College in 1989 as Valedictorian. She had lived in the Riverton, Laramie, Deaver, Gas Hills, and Pavillion, Wyoming communities.

She married Allen Edward Richardson on December 23, 1965 in Riverton.

Her family said she was an avid crafts person. Enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas, painting pillowcases and towels and many other crafts. Helen greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting with her family. She loved playing games of any kind and was especially good at pinochle and cribbage with her passion being bingo.



She was a member of the Grange Club and volunteered as an EMT with the Pavillion Fire Department. She was the postmaster at Gas Hills, Wyoming for 15 years, worked as an accountant for 10 years at WSP and Associates and librarian for the Fremont County Pavillion Branch Library. She was also a substitute school bus driver and worked at the Lander State Training School.

She is survived by her husband Allen of Pavillion; sons, Eugene Allen Richardson and Howard Seymour Richardson III; daughter, Mary Ann Runner; stepson, Cory Johnston; fosterson, Joshua Stanley; grandchildren, Charlen Runner, Jordan Runner, and John Cale Runner; brother, John Glaser; sisters, Dorothy Glaser Jacobson and Mary Glaser Longtine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elsie Glaser; brother, Richard Glaser; and granddaughter, Megan Nicole Runner. Memorials may be made to CWC General Scholarship Endowment in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
