June E. Goff, 93, died August 21, 2015 at Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held on 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Linda Norris officiating.

June Eleanor Fletcher was born on June 26, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY to James Woods and Lilian Mae (Dennis) Fletcher. She was an only child, the family moved to Ridgewood, NJ when June was 2. She attended local schools and graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1943. She graduated from Passaic School of Nursing in Paterson, NJ and was an R.N. for many years.

On November 2, 1943 she married her husband, Everett Wood Goff, in Ridgewood, NJ. They were married for 66 years before his passing in April of 2010. Together they raised three children, on son and two daughters.

She was of the Presbyterian Faith and was very active in the church. She was a Deacon, and a member of the United Presbyterian Women’s Group.

She lived in Goffstown, NH from 1954-1984 then moved to Riverton, WY in 1984. She became involved in the community and was the Past President of the Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at the Riverton Library. She was honored as an Unsung Hero of the Library in 2006.

Her family said she enjoyed reading, sports, needlepoint and paper quilling.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Goff and his wife, Diane of Antrim, NH; her daughters, Debbi Compton and her husband, Bill of St. George, UT, and Susan Schooner and her husband, Michael of Riverton, WY; her eight grandchildren, Tricia Bell, Sarah Roiko, Jason Schooner, Jermey Schooner, Haley Schooner Amy Compton, Dan Compton and Marilyn Green and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lilian Fletcher and her husband, Everett Goff.
