Lonestar "Star" Addison

A Funeral Mass for lifelong Wind River Reservation resident, Lonestar “Star” Addison, 40, who died on November 9th, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with Father Bryce Lungren officiating. Interment will follow at Spoonhunter Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 14th at Great Plains Hall with a wake to follow.

He was born on October 2, 1978 in Riverton, Wyoming, son of John B. and Celena Marie (Vigil) Addison.

Star attended the Arapaho and Wyoming Indian Schools. As a young adult, Star sang with the Lonestar Singers, but as he grew older, he sang with Red Cedar.

He was a believer in the Traditional Native American ways. Star enjoyed driving around, listening to music, visiting with friends, terrorizing, and going to the Casino. Mr. Addison was self-employed.

Survivors include his son, Nathaniel Brown; daughters, Ryannen Behan, Starlina, Isabella, Aliyaha, Thomasita, Gabriella and Kalin Addison; sisters, Fatima Addison, Pauline Sitting Eagle, Mallory Oldman, Vincent Yellowbear, Jr., Gary Lincoln, Snakes Shakespeare, Steven E., Darwin Spoonhunter, Wally Oldman, Jr., Edd Shakespeare, Duane Bell, Pat Brown, Keith Spoonhunter, Thomas Armour, Linden Bell, Stephen Seminole, Burdick Seminole; aunts, Carla Geboe, Roberta Eagle; uncle, Wallace Oldman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Southernman Addison, Yellowstone Addison, Red Willow Seminole.
