Graveside services for Evangeline Mead, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Wake will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1st at 128 Sagebrush Loop Road. The family asks that due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing are to be observed.

Mrs. Mead passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Morning Star Manor in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

She was born on October 3, 1933, at the family home in Arapahoe, Wyoming, daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Jenkins) Brown.

Mrs. Mead was a homemaker who loved to cook and have fun by joking, teasing and laughing. She loved being with her grandkids, family and friends. Evangeline had a big heart who would help anyone that needed her help. She enjoyed doing crafts and walking as well as watching western movies.

Survivors include her kids, Alvina Aragon, Frank A. Mead, Howard Brown, Lola Brown, Leo M. Monroe, Jr. and Lenny Monroe, Sr.; grandkids, Marty Brown, Bryan Brown, Dennis Teran, Jr., Nicole Aragon, Trina Harris and Joshua Mead; great grandkids, Marcello Harris, Antonio Harris, Kimberlee Harris, Kalin Harris, Chantille Monroe, Le’ona Monroe, Lexi Monroe, Lacy Monroe, Haley Monroe, Brandon Monroe, Lavina A. Monroe, Lenny L. Monroe, Jr., Gabriel Monroe, Tavion Goodman, J’Jen Teran, Bryce Teran, Arionna Underwood, Shadow Underwood, Prayla Underwood, Warrior Underwood, Steven Brown, Daryl Brown, Halle Robinson-Teran, Tyree Harris, Rayghin Harris, Helen Harris, Joel Harris, Salvador Brown, Kevin Blackburn, Annamae Blackburn, Reece Blackburn, Alana Brown, Martina Brown, Laura Brown; great, great grandkids, Aveian Harris, Anilya Harris, Avenna Harris and Hayden Brown; familes of Addison, Oldman and Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Mead; daughters, Baby June and Lavina Brown; son, Jerry Brown; parents, Joseph Brown and Dorothy Myra (Jenkins) Brown; sisters, Flossie Brown, Maria Oldman, and Rosealine Addison; brothers, Reuben Jenkins, Royce, Herman, Alex “Peanuts,” Aloysius Brown; grandsons, Tyrel Teran, Calvin Brown and numerous family members.
