No services are scheduled at this time for Emil Charles Lindell, 84, who passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home in Riverton, WY. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Emil was born the 10th child out of 11 on October 17, 1936 in Arnold, Nebraska, son of Emmanuel and Lena Mae (Sherman) Lindell. Following high school graduation, Emil served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. While serving, he married Eleanor A. Knight on October 25, 1958 in Bath, Maine.

Mr. Lindell had worked over 30 years for Allstate Insurance while living in California, Colorado and Montana. Following retirement, Emil moved to Riverton, Wyoming from East Helena, MT to live close to his daughter, Lori. Emil was an avid Nascar fan who also enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, rock hunting but loved camping in his desert. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners.

Survivors include his daughter, Lori and her husband, Steve Jacobs of Riverton; son, Chuck and his wife, Penny Lindell of Rock Springs; Lori and Steve’s children, Rod and his wife, Nicole Jacobs and their daughter, Ellie; Tracy and her husband, Clint Stowers and their children, Aaron and Joshua; Becky and her husband, Blair Rollenhegen and their children, Cailynne and Izzy; Chuck and Penny’s son, Kenneth Lindell; sister, Lena and her husband, Larry Lyons of WA; special niece and nephew, Jane and her husband, Gary Nolde of Lander and George Poulus of Cheyenne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
