A Viewing for Jesse Louis Monroe, 32, will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Monroe passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his home in Arapahoe, Wyoming.
Jesse was born on December 22, 1991 in Riverton, Wyoming to Clinton Monroe and Leanna Sitting Eagle. He lived most of his life on the Wind River Indian Reservation and was a proud graduate of the Arapaho Charter High School.
Mr. Monroe worked in the food service industry and loved to cook as well as make rap music. He found pleasure in spending time with his family and enjoyed good conversation with others. He had a strong belief in his Arapaho ways.
Survivors include his parents, Clinton and DeanNa Monroe and Leanna Sitting Eagle; son, Jesse M. Monroe; daughter, Mellodie Monroe; brothers, Clinton Monroe, Jr., Rhys Lopez, Aloysious, Truman, Lincey Sitting Eagle; sisters, Lithia Monroe, Kaytlin Monroe and Atalaya Lopez; families of Dresser, Dodge, Brown, Sitting Eagle, Hanway, Potter, Warren, Bell, Watermen; numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kara Sisson; grandparents, Robert and Marcella Monroe, Anthony and Odelia Sitting Eagle.
