Ivan Ray Pine, Jr. 15, of Riverton passed away at his home on Monday, April 22, 2024. A vigil with a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Great Plains Hall followed by the wake at 15 Left Hand Ditch Road. A second vigil with rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2023, at Great Plains Hall followed by wake at 311 Great Plains Road. The funeral service will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 30, 2024, at Great Plains Hall with burial to follow at Oldman Cemetery.

 

Ivan Ray Pine, Jr. was born on November 11, 2008 in Riverton, Wyoming to Ivan Ray Pine, Sr. and Elisteanna Pearl Catha. He was raised on the Wind River Reservation and attended school at St. Stephene’s. He was raised by his father until he passed in 2008, then his paternal grandmother raised him until she passed in 2020 and finally his Aunt Elizabeth “ET” helped raise him until his passing.

 

Ivan was so full of life and greeted everyone with a smile and hug. He absolutely took to all his grandmothers, Mary, Kay, June, and BillyAnne after his grandmother, Etta, passed.

 

Ivan enjoyed hanging out with friends and brothers, liked to draw, playing basketball, and skateboarding.
