At her request, no services will be held for Beulah L. Grant of rural Riverton, who died at her home Thursday morning, March 25, 2010. She was 78. Cremation has taken place.

Beulah Leota Black was born in Helena, Mont., on Jan. 2, 1932, the daughter of Clifford Black and Vernice (Emery) Black.

She earned a beautician's certification and owned and operated Granny's Diner in Thermopolis for more than a decade.

Her family said Mrs. Grant enjoyed gardening and was a skilled seamstress.

Survivors include her son, John Grant and wife Sharon of Riverton; a daughter, Verna Chestnut and husband Carl of Bullhead City, Ariz.; survivors include her grandchildren, Rebecca Black, Jude Valdez, John Valdez, and Odessa Valdez; great grandchildren, Trevor Bendoe, Levi Bendoe, Jaime Woodhouse, Melissa Johnson, Cort McCumber, Colter McCumber, Shyla Johnson, Samantha Verhasselt, and Skylar Grant; three step-children, Sherri Bendoe, Arlea McCumber, and Clay Grant and wife Cindy; 15 step-great grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
