Marjorie L. Trimmer died at her home in Riverton Wednesday evening, July 4, 2007. She was 70 years old. A family gathering will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the home of Ray and Betty Hinkle, 216 East Pershing, in Riverton. Marjorie L. St. John was born in Lander on March 4, 1937, the daughter of Earl D. St. John and Dixie Mae (Angle) St. John. She was graduated from Cody High School in 1955. She managed the Hi-Lo Motel in Riverton for seven years, coming here in 1979. She moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, and then returned to Riverton. Ms. Trimmer collected dolphins and her family said she enjoyed spending time with her sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Jalie D. Sturgeon and her husband, Dino; grandchildren, Audrey Ann, age 12, Andrew Dylan, age 15, Lyle John, age 14, and Henry Joseph, age 2-1/2 years; sisters, Betty Brow Hinkle, Elaine Swisher, Jeannie Portlock, Kay Michael, and Noma Johnson. She was preceded in death by a son, John Lacy; brother, Robert St. John; sister, Patsy Hess; nephew Jesse Portlock, and her dog, Rambo.
