Michael J. Schott of Riverton died on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at the nursing home in Saratoga. He was 57.
At his request, no services will be held.
Michael Joseph Schott was born in Williamsburg, Ohio on Oct. 1, 1952, the son of Vernon G. Schott and Audrey (Moorman) Schott.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and worked in the oil fields.
Mr. Schott had lived in Riverton for 21 years.
His family said he enjoyed dogs, especially his favorite Lab, Harley.
Survivors include his companion, Elaine Broyles of Oklahoma, and three good friends, Walt Ruby, Bill Snapp, and Tim Olson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dave Schott.
