Shakespeare, Lashelle "DS"

Our Thoughts, Prayers & Strength to the Lashelle Shakespeare family during this difficult time; May God Be With You.

I'm very sorry that you have lost your loved one to death. Very soon this promise in Revelation 21:3-5 will come true. Then you will be able to dry your tears.

I was lucky enough to get to know Lashelle through high school basketball and classes at Laramie High. I wish I had more than a few years with Lashelle, but in those years I had her in my life I was able to see what an amazing individual she was. I felt a bond with Lashelle from the very beginning and believe she felt the same. I hope that Lashelle knew that I was always there for her when she felt like her life in Laramie was too much to handle being away from all her family and such. Lashelle was one of the sweetest girls, with a humor that only certain people could understand. Lashelle was one of the strongest girls I know when it came to mental tolerance. I wish that I could have made enough of an impact on her life to let her know that she made me want to be as strong as her. If the Shakespeare family is anything like Lashelle I know that they are staying strong in this sad time, but I still want to send my thoughts and hope to everyone. I want everyone to know that Lashelle had potential that she was capable of reaching, I just wish that she believed that about herself. I learned so many things about the Native American culture through Lashelle that gave me a different perspective on several things in life. I hope that I was able to show Lashelle that friendships can be made no matter what cultures are involved, and that all cultures are good in different ways. I hope Lashelle knows that I miss her and that her death has made an impact on my life. It hurts me to think that her saying goodbye to me was in the Native American way because it means see you next time or that I will see you again, and this time it is actually goodbye. She will be missed and I will keep all of you in my thoughts.
