Pauline, Leonhardt

Debbie and Family
Your Mom was always good to me when I saw her. She made me laugh when she would ask Tom when he was going to make an honest women out of me.

I know this is a rough time for you all. May the love of God and knowing that Pauline is in peace help you through the days ahead.

You all are in my thoughts and Prayers during this difficult time. The past few years I was Beginning to Think Your Mother actually Liked Me? I Enjoyed the Few conversations I had with her the past few years when I would come to Riverton to visit. I will Miss Her to.

Sorry to read of the passing of your mom.
Another of the oldtimers has gone over the hill and left us in the dust.
Know you will miss her.

Sandy, Steve, Debbie, Greg and Curt:

So sorry to hear of Pauline's passing. It doesn't matter the age of your mother, it hurts to have to say goodbye to your Mom.

I remember Pauline taking us Wagner kids to vacation bible school in Kinnear each summer. I remember blustery wintery days up at your little house (I always thought of it as warm and cozy) learning to play pinochle. Pauline always had a warm smile on her face. I loved it when Pauline loaded up the kids and came to our house for morning coffee. I have so many fond memories.

I wish the weather and roads were better so that I could be there to pay my respects in person. I still live in central Montana and there is a lot of snow and ice on our roads. Please know that I will be thinking and praying for all of you.

Love,
Cheryl Wagner Tucek

I want to start by apologizing for the blank message, so much for the smart phone.

When I was a very young child at the old Gasner house, Aunt Pauline, my mother, Grandma Ameila, and a few sisters were cooking her famous shrimp salad in the kitchen. They were all talking at the same time, who knows who was listening. My goal was to get through the kitchen to the outside to continue playing with my cousins. However, three or four steps in, Aunt Pauline picked up a thousand island dressing bottle, gave it a couple good shakes and it exploded on everyone within 5 feet. I remember this because of all the laughter, but what I really like to know is.. does anyone have Aunt Pauline's ORIGINAL shrimp salad recipe? It was the best.
I loved her, and she will be missed, but I was also scared of her.

Love,

Laurie

I remember the summer after my dad died, I was 12 years old, and Aunt Pauline
took me home with her for a week. Falling into the Leonhardts' family routine was a comfort, and I enjoyed the time spent with Aunt Pauline. She was a kind and generous person, and she'll be missed.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Pauline's death and our sympathies go to my cousins. I remember growing up having a lot of good times there. It seemed like Mom and her did a lot of things like canning vegetables and plucking fryers and the kids "helping."
I know we will miss her at our reunions.

My condolences to Sandy,Steve,Debbie,Greg and Kurt. Your mom was really a great mother in law even though we didn't see eye to eye, she taught so many life lessons and still cook many many of her famous dishes! My now husband benefits from all those great meals and she's fondly talked about often!! She also helped me raise my young boys, which as a young mother myself, definitely couldn't have done it without all the her! RIP Pauline...you will be in my heart forever!
