Tim, how often I saw you walk in the door of our home in Lander. You and my son Tony were such close friends. My daughter Stephanie always felt close to you also. I never saw you without a smile on your face and appearing to be just a little onry. You will be missed but will be always in the hearts of your friends as good memories should be. You had a place in my children's lives and what a blessing that was. See you again!

What a beautiful individual we all shared in Tim Doughty. While initially I admired him as the quintessential older brother of my best friend growing up (he could drive AND had a car, and everybody in high school wanted to be seen hanging out with him), I later respected him as a co-worker, mentor and friend (he taught me how to assemble the perfect bag of groceries at Safeway—skills which took both of us to the county “bag off” in Riverton, where he promptly sealed a decisive victory). This world would be a distinctly better place if we were all to emulate even a handful of his qualities: happiness, compassion, kindness, and above all, optimism in the face of adversity. Tim will always be remembered as a truly delightful person with a big smile and huge heart, and will forever be missed.

I did not know Tim real well but I do know his parents, John and Karen. Since he was much like them he was definitely a very good person. There is a scarcity of good people-we will all miss Tim. My condolences to all of his family.

Thinking of you all with love and blessings on this difficult day. Tears of sadness - yet tears of joy remembering Tim and the unique, loving and kind man he was.

I am proud and honoured to have known him for nigh on 30 years, he gave so much love and compassion, the best hugs in the world and touched everyone he met in his life.

I will miss you terribly, but you will always be deep in my heart and soul - love you always and rest forever in peace sweetheart. xxxxxxxJulia & Family

"Bridge Over Troubled Water" Simon & Garfunkel

When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When you're down and out,
When you're on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
I'll take your part.
When darkness comes
And pain is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
