Avis Richardson

Richardson, Avis

Uncle Cecil & Family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Avis. I'll always remember her for her gentle spirit, always positive and encouraging nature, love of crocheting, knitting, and spinning the wool of her sheep to create all kinds of projects. She will be missed. I wish you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Family of Avis, Our prayers go out to all of you. What a wonderful lady she was. Wayne worked with her at Safeway for many years. She was so talented with her spinning and knitting. We had some good laughs about the fancy coats for her sheep made from the wild fabric we gave her. She was such a talented, caring, and giving lady who will be missed by all who knew her. God bless all of you.I

Cecil and family,
After fighting a long and hard battle for many years to hold on to life her hands slipped and she had to let it go. Avis was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever possible. She will be missed by us and many more. Rest in peace dear lady.

While I never met you, I want you to know that you raised one of the most incredible ladies I've ever met. Elaine is a beautiful, gentle, caring soul and that type of person only gets those traits from an amazing family. You did a great job here and I wish for you a safe journey Home into His loving arms. Your heavenly rewards await.

Although it has been 30 plus years since the Safeway days, I still have good memories of working with Avis. I remember the enjoyment with the family. I am sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace, Avis.

Roger, Warren, Becky, Elaine and Joe. So sorry to hear about your mom. I have many good memories of hanging out at your house in Pavillion and your mom seemed not to mind one more kid in the house.
Regards,

Cecil, Roger, Becky, Warren, Elaine, and Joe,

Unconditional love, a wonderful close-knit family, lots of activity and action radiated from that house next to the old firehouse in Pavillion. It was a true sense of family, fun, a wonderful garden, animals, and friendships.
Everyone knew everyone in town then. Time sure changes things, Pavillion is no longer the same and a local matriarch has passed.

"True wealth is not measured in money or status or power. It is measured in the legacy we leave behind for those we love and those we inspire." --Cesar Chavez

The love, admiration, and inspiration her 5 children, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchild received from and have for Avis is a testament to the legacy she leaves behind. The true measure of who we are is reflected by the relationships and love we share with our children and grandchildren. Cecil and Avis are always surrounded by their children and grandchildren. The love of family and the admiration of friends and family made her wealthy and blessed beyond measure.

Rest in peace Avis. You were an amazing lady!
Deepest sympathies to Cecil and Family, may God give you the peace you seek.
