Our hearts are broken at our dearest friend/family leaving us, but we know that God had other plans for him. We will always remember as the kindest, gentle soul that he was. Thank you Landy for the great memories we all made together in San Antonio. These were the best years of our lives. May the Good Lord comfort Inky, Kristina, Karla and Kirk and know that his memories and love will live in your hearts forever. We love you Landy forever! Richard, Minnie, Rick & Christopher Garcia. Rest in Peace my friend knowing that your family will be okayl

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'll never forget that smile and laugh of his and that accent tone of his voice when he would call at Overhead Door. You always knew when he meant business. But he would always ask how Scotty was doing and ask about my family. He will be dearly missed. Rest easy my friend.

We are so sorry for your loss! I worked with Garland at Eastern Air Lines for many years from 1972 until the end. I have many happy memories sitting in your living room in San Antonio and visiting. You are all in our prayers.

Words can never gauge the influence that Garland has played in my life. His way of explaining matters of love and life will be sorely missed. Garland was a cross between a big brother and father figure to me. I will never forget the many favors he and Inky blessed me with. I will also never forget how kind and sweet he was to my mother and wife. Gonna miss ya "Big Guy" ! The world is one less of its best. Blessings and Prayers to his wonderful family !!!

Today marks the two week anniversary of my Father’s passing; words can not express how much I loved and will always love my “Daddy!” I miss you so much, but am so very glad that you are no longer suffering through your daily pain. I have never come across another person in this world that had so much strength. His willpower to live was for the love of his life “Inky” (my Mom). He was always honest to a fault and even on his worst days he continued to bless others on a daily basis. He would have given away every dime he made in this life... if it meant someone else would be okay in theirs. I will miss all of his Boudreaux jokes and his infamous Billy Jo Dupre’ one too. I will miss his infectious smile and his ability to make everyone laugh. My Dad was one of a kind and even through the worst of times...he always found something positive to keep moving forward. Our lives will never be the same, but he would never want anyone to be sad; so please remember the great moments that he shared with you and honor him by “Celebrating his Life” and continuing to enjoy yours. My Dad also prepared my Mom for everything this past year and even though this is a very hard time for her, she continues to be the beautiful, positive woman that she has always been. I could not be any prouder than I am today, because of her strength and also because of her resilience. Thank you everyone for your love and prayers during this difficult time.
God bless,
Karla (a.k.a. George;)
