Brenda 'Pina' Maldonado

Maldonado, Brenda "Pina"

I would just like to say that I am very sorry for your loss. Please know that I will miss Brenda dearly and will never forget all the memories that we shared together. She was such a big influence on me. Whenever someone would pick on me she would stand up for me and always tell me not to let anyone run me over and not to be a doormat and for that I thank her. She taught me alot in the little amount of time that I stayed with her. She would always tell me that as soon as she turned 18 years old she would get custody of me so that way I wouldn't get treated messed up anymore and she said that I could call her my big sister. It hurt so bad when i heard she was brain dead and on life support and that it was going to be pulled soon. But now I know that my sister can make a safe trip home and rest in peace. Now she's free at last she don't have to worry no more or be in pain. ...*I LOVE YOU BRENDA*...

My thoughts & Prayers go out to the Family.
Brenda was a very sweet, happy and helpful young woman. She had a smile & a hug for all of her friends & family when ever she greeted them. She always seemed to have the courage to stand up for herself and others. She has touched so many lives in her short time here and will be missed by so many.
Hang in there Eleanor!!! Your Dear Sweet Baby Girl has started her journey home and she will be Forever smiling down on you. The pain will ease over time but ALWAYS know that ALL of our paths will cross again.
Dustin & Fantasia you need to be strong for your brothers, sisters and mother. Hold your family together and keep Brenda's memory alive by sharing all your memories with each other.
May God Bless & Watch Over You ALL and give you the Peace that you will need to carry on in your lives.

For the family,
Though you do not know me, I know Brenda. I was one of the cooks at St. Stephens school. Brenda was always friendly & polite, I remember the hat....she would always have something nice to say & a smile.
No one knows why our creator takes some so young,
I believe he has a plan that we just don't understand yet.
Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers,
Sincerely, Merlene
