Noel Lawrence Meeks

Meeks, Noel Lawrence

I send sincere regards from the northern Meeks outfit. Noel was a great person and one I wish I had known better. Sons Tyler Ross, Jared, and I tried hard to figure out a way to get there for the memorial, but with the holiday of last week and the northern storm coming in this afternoon, it does not look good for us. We would have probably just got into trouble anyway. Seems to follow us around. Either that or we just make it.
Tyler Ross, Jared and I pledge to stay in closer contact with you. We want to stay in touch.
All best to you.

Tammie, Zane, Joe, Gaile, Amy:

Sons Tyler Ross, Jared, and myself extend our deepest regards. Noel cast a meaningful shadow in that country and we knew it.

We had hoped to get there for the service, but the holiday left us with work to catch up on and there is a storm coming in from Canada as I write this missive.

We will stay in touch.

Regards,

I feel blessed to have known Noel, if only for a brief time. I met Noel when he came to New Hope Medical Center earlier this year. He lite up every room he walked in to with his smile, sparkle in his eye and tales of Cowboys and more Cowboys. I know it took everything he had to stay hunkered down in one place for so long. (smile) I work at the clinic and I looked forward to each day Noel was there. His warm and genuine smile and his ease with all of our other patients, inspiring them and choosing to remain positive, focusing on his blessings in his life as opposed to his challenges.

He will be missed by so many but now he is strong and safe wrapped up in the angels wings.

Love and Peace To All,

Terry Bamberg

MEEKS FAMILY,
Noel was a wonderful person, talented and outgoing. I will always remember the paintings Noel would do and the smiles and laughs he had.I know that your family has suffered a great loss.I hope your memories of him will be some comfort to you.

It is hard to find words to express what an impact Noel had on my life. I worked at New Hope Medical Center, and I was blessed to get to sit and talk to Noel on a daily basis for over three weeks. I had many conversations with him and nearly all of them were conversations of my lifetime. He was so wise and his laugh was one of my favorite sounds. I looked up to him like a father and we confided in one another like we have known each other for years. He was so proud of his kids. He was so happy with his life. He told me that before he died he wished to go to Belize. I will be there in a few short months, and he promised that he would meet me there. When I do arrive, I know that he will be with me. I feel so blessed to have had the chance to get to know a truly and contagiously wonderful person. Knowing him changed my life.

With Love.
