We were so saddened to hear about Patty's passing. What a happy, friendly, delightful and funny lady! She brought light into every room she entered. One of our favorite people!

Sometimes, a fond memory and funny story will bring a warm smile and gentle tear: Almost 60 years ago, my family lived next to hers - just across Fremont Street south of the current employment office. She and her brother taught me how to eat sunflower seeds. However, they neglected to tell me not to also eat the shells. I'm convinced, to this day, Patty did that on purpose.

Gee, we'll miss her.
