Cheryl Lynn Williams, 65, of Riverton, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at SageWest Hospital in Lander, Wyoming.
She was born on Tuesday, July 26, 1960, in Sterling, Colorado, to Herschal and Eva (Pettit) Williams, one of nine children blessed to their family.
Cheryl married Raymond Miles Holliday, and together they had one son, Aaron Holliday. They later divorced. She was later married to Victor Szablewski, and they also later divorced.
Cheryl lived in several states throughout her life, including Colorado, Missouri, and South Dakota, before settling in Riverton, Wyoming, where she made her home for many years.
A devoted and hard-working woman, Cheryl held various positions over the years including employment at Walmart, local laundromats where she specialized in dry cleaning, and housekeeping roles at health care facilities.
She was a talented artist, gifted in painting, drawing, and coloring, and enjoyed sharing her artwork with family and friends. Cheryl also loved to travel, do crafts, play pool, and listen to music. She was a Baptist.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Aaron Holliday, and her three grandsons, Jesse, Case, and Araya, all of Riverton; her brothers, Gary Williams, Rick Williams, and Chuck Williams; and her sisters, Janice Broyles, Diane Wessels, Debbie Austin, Kim Johnson, and Pam Williams. She is also survived by her former spouse, Raymond Holliday of Riverton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschal and Eva Williams.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chandelle Building in Riverton on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share as we come together in fellowship and remembrance. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes.
