Frank Robert Longtine, III, 62, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Casper, Wyoming. Private burial at Mountain View Cemetery has taken place. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at his gravesite at later date.
Frank was born on February 17, 1963, in Riverton, Wyoming, the son of Frank Joseph and Roberta Ann (Gilgren) Longtine. He grew up in Riverton and graduated from Riverton High School with the Class of 1981.
Following high school, Frank moved to Casper, Wyoming, where he made his home until his passing. He was employed as the main custodian for the Casper School District for over 30 years, retiring in 2023. In addition to his career, Frank was a skilled auto mechanic, working on vehicles both out of enjoyment and necessity, and he was always willing to help friends with their automotive needs.
Frank was an avid ham radio operator and a member of the Casper Amateur Radio Club. Amateur radio was his greatest passion and brought him much joy throughout his life. He loved camping and exploring the outdoors. His family described him as “an all-around nice guy,” known for his kindness and willingness to help others.
Frank is survived by his mother, Roberta Longtine of Evansville, Wyoming; his sister, Shawna (William) Narragan; his nephews, James Barrows of Evansville, Wyoming, and Ty (Hannah) Harris of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and many friends in Riverton and Casper, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Joseph Longtine, Jr.
