Brad was born on September 30, 1955, to Robert and Bonnie (Dietrich) Dalley.
On August 29, 1975, he married Beverly Jean Brown at the United Methodist Church in Riverton, Wyoming. He built his life on a plot of land just across the road from where he grew up. He lived there with his precious wife for over 50 years, and together they raised two sons, Matthew and Nathan, and watched their family grow as they welcomed many grandchildren and great-grandchildren into the family. He lived, loved, worked, and played his entire life on Two Valley Road.
Brad lived his life with the grit of a lineman and the heart of a cowboy. He spent decades keeping the lights on for his community, working as a lineman - a job that suited his bravery, strength, and natural ability to fix just about anything.
When not working high up on a pole, Brad could usually be found down in the dirt with his horses, cattle, and dogs, or in his shop fixing or creating things.
Brad was known for his quick wit and a willingness to help anyone—human or animal—at a moment’s notice. He was a rare breed—a tough outdoorsman who loved the hunt, yet also a thoughtful, creative soul who found beauty in the details and joy in building things or sharing a laugh over a cold drink. Brad did everything with a style that was all his own.
Brad leaves behind a legacy of strength, determination, creativity, and a few projects he probably intended to finish next Tuesday.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over five decades, Beverly; his sons, Matthew and Nathan (Mikal); his much-loved grandchildren, Niko (Bailey) Garcia, Chace (Nicole) Garcia, Brianna Dalley, and Brynlee Dalley; great-grandchildren, Payton, Kingston, Russell, and one more on the way.
Brad is also survived by his sister, Debbie (Dick) McClure; his nephews, Jake and Mike (Trista) McClure; his brother-in-law, Larry Brown; sister-in-law, Reone (Conrad) Rupert; his nieces, Tara Rupert, Jenni (Mike) Greenwood, and Kari Rupert; his uncle, Jim (Joanne) Dalley who was more than an uncle – he was like a brother; along with a whole herd of great-nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie Dalley.
