A Celebration of Life for Ralph T. Truempler, age 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Reach Clubhouse, 622 North 8th Street West, Riverton, Wyoming. Ralph passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at SageWest Riverton Hospital.
Ralph Terry Truempler was born on November 27, 1944, in Deer River, Minnesota, to William J. and Winnifred (Jones) Truempler. He was raised in Minnesota, where he completed his schooling before proudly serving his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. His time in the service was a source of quiet pride and reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment.
On February 11, 1969, Ralph married the love of his life, Evelyn Mae Groover, in Newark, Ohio. Their marriage was one built on love, partnership, and shared experiences. Throughout the years, Ralph and Evelyn made their home in Ohio and Florida before eventually settling in Wyoming, where Ralph continued his life of hard work and dedication. He was employed at LP Sawmill, Wilson Lumbermill, Albright Sand and Gravel, and Woodridge Apartments, and he was known as a dependable and hardworking employee wherever he worked.
Ralph found his greatest enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. He was a multi-billionaire in Jackpot Party Casino. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, took pride in his yardwork, and especially enjoyed dog sitting. These quiet moments brought him contentment and peace.
Above all else, Ralph was a devoted family man. He was a proud grandfather who deeply loved his grandchildren and took great joy in being involved in their lives and activities. He trained all of his grandkids to call him "great, great guy". He also had quick-witted jabs to add in to most conversations when spending time with family. Known to many as a genuinely kind and good-hearted man, Ralph will be remembered for his warmth, his steady presence, and the love he shared with those around him.
