December 25, 1940 – January 30, 2026

Arlo George Miller, 79, a lifelong resident of Arapahoe, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 30, 2026.

A Rosary with Vigil will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home, Riverton, Wyoming. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, also at Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Miller Family Cemetery.

Arlo was born at home on December 25, 1940, to Jesse Frank Miller and Ester Bunner Miller. He was an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe, and his Indian name was Sitting Hawk.

Arlo enjoyed going to town, visiting with people, and spending time at the casino. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Always smiling, he enjoyed teasing others and was known as a kind-hearted man. A true cowboy, Arlo was deaf and communicated through Indian sign language.

He is survived by his brother, William Miller; his sisters, Eunice Moss, Veronica Miller, Clarissa Friday, and Barbara Hayes; and many beloved nieces and nephews including Jesse Moss, Skeeter YoungChief, Shawn YoungChief, Preston Moss, Kelsey Miller, Joshna Miller, Travis Moss, Jason Moss, Wylan Gambler, Sammy Friday, Quentin Friday, Garrett Nimmo, Austin Nimmo, Jessirae Harris, Lynda Hayes, Tedianna Hayes, Chanda Miller, and Brittney Moss. He is also survived by many other relatives, his Arapaho people, and all who loved him.

Arlo was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ester Miller; and his brothers, Teddy Joe Miller and Joseph Lawrence Miller.
