No services will be held for Kenneth “Ken” Taylor, 83, who passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 in Riverton, Wyoming surrounded by his family.
Ken was born in Brigham City, Utah on September 5, 1942, the sixth child out of eventually nine, born to Denzil and Pearl (Jorgensen) Taylor. The family moved to Rawlins, Wyoming in the Spring of 1943. Kenneth was raised in Rawlins, where his father was an Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. When it came to inheriting his dad’s ability with a fishing rod or a deer rifle, Ken seemed to have gotten the major part. The other two sons got what was leftovers.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Taylor; children, Mark Taylor, Shawn Leu and Kimberly Taylor; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Richard, Jay, Carol, Denise, Barbara and Tamela.
Ken was a brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be fondly missed and remembered.
