Robert “Bob” Andrews, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 28, 2026 at Help for Health Hospice in Riverton, Wyoming.

Robert Eugene Andrews was born on October 6, 1931, in Minatare, Nebraska, the son of John B. Andrews and Molly (Sauer) Andrews. He grew up in Riverton, Wyoming, and attended school in Morton. Bob lived in Casper from 1977 until 2001 before returning home to Riverton, where he remained close to family and lifelong friends.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for two years during the Korean War stateside and later served five years with the National Guard.

Family was the center of Bob’s life. He married Wanda (Punky) Gordon in 1955, and together they welcomed two daughters, Toni Rae and Vicki Jo, who remained a great source of pride and joy throughout his life. He later married Betty in 1977. Bob treasured the time he spent with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and he loved sharing stories, laughter, and adventures with those he loved most.

Bob spent much of his working life as a heavy equipment operator in the Gas Hills, on road construction projects, and helping build the Alaska pipeline, where he lived and worked for nearly a decade. He was known for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and ability to tackle any challenge placed before him.

An outdoorsman at heart, Bob was a private pilot for more than 40 years and found great joy in flying his airplanes and ultralights. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending winters in Arizona. He was an avid gun collector who enjoyed loading and shooting, and he especially loved the friendships and memories made through his hobbies and travels.

Survivors include his daughters, Toni Rae (Don) Larson of Evanston, Wyoming, and Vicki Jo (Bill) Campion of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his brother, Kirk (Cindy) Andrews of Pasco, Washington.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; sister Betty Johnson and brother Rick Andrews; his late wives Punky and Betty Andrews, longtime parter Jackie Coates; and grandson, Hadley Larson.
