Memorial services for Patricia E. Walthers of Riverton will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Mrs. Walthers died Monday morning, January 21, 2013 at her home. She was 79 years old.

Patricia Ellen Barrett was born November 22, 1933 in Hot Springs, SD, the daughter of Larry and Eva (Walker) Barrett. She grew up in the Missouri Valley area and was graduated from Shoshoni High School. She lived most of her life in Fremont County.

On May 29, 1959, she married Calvin H. Walthers in Lander. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2011.

She was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Riverton.

Mrs. Walthers had been a mother, a waitress, an assembler at DH Print and Brunton, and worked at Taco Time and Paintbrush Motel.

She was a past member of the Riverton Eagles Club and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Mrs. Walthers enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, embroidery, gambling, and playing darts, for which she was nicknamed “Hip Shot”.

Among her survivors are daughters Edie Muggelberg and her husband Nick of Hudson, Patsy Flahaut and her husband Brian of Riverton, Eva “Babe” Martel and her husband J.C. of Riverton, and Robin Hamilton and her husband Kelly, of Riverton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Delmar Barrett and his wife Shirley of Riverton and Henry Barrett and his wife Patsy of California.

Preceding her in death were her husband Calvin; her parents; brothers Lawrence and Robert; sister Mary Johnson; and son Joseph Fuller.

Memorial donations may be given to Amedisys Hospice, in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main, Riverton, WY 82501.
