Rocky went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 26, 1957, in Moab, Utah, son of Henry and Magdalena (Avila) Cruz.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Lo; sisters, Gloria and her husband, Guillermo, Irene and her husband, Adolf, Patsy and her husband, Charlie; brother, Henry and wife, Pat, sisters, Cleo and husband, Dave, Diana, Lauretta and husband, Mike and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Magdalena Cruz, his father, Henry Cruz, sister, Barbara; nephew, Vincent and his dog, Jule.
