Funeral services for Nathan Duane “Nat” Tyler, 75, will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Rendezvous Church of Christ, 39 Gas Hills Road with Pastor Ed Murray officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery with military honors. A viewing will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riverton Masonic Lodge #26 A.F. & A.M. or to the Help for Health Hospice Home in care of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Tyler died March 28, 2013 at his home in Riverton.

He was born February 7, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Clarence W. and Shirley I. Tyler.

Nat served in the Army from 1954 until 1957. After he was honorably discharged, he worked as an underground miner throughout Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Nevada.

On December 20, 1996, Nat married Beverly Ann Tyler in Nevada.

His family said that he enjoyed working in his yard and kept it beautiful. He also enjoyed gambling at the casino, eating at Svilars and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Tyler was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a lifetime member of the VFW.

Survivors include his wife of Riverton, 8 children, 2 step-sons, Glen Alen Davis of Arizona and Garland Wilson of Riverton; step-daughter, Rita Whitesell and her companion, Guy Faris of Riverton; brother, Robert D. Tyler of Riverton, sisters, Darlene and her husband, Buford Fallis of MT, Rita M. and her husband, Ron Hamel of MT and Rose S. and her husband, Randy Sharp of MT; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Scott Duane Tyler and brother, Charles Tyler.
