Audrey Kay Arguello, 49, of Riverton died at the Wyoming Medical Center on Monday, July 8, 2013. A wake will be held at the family home located at 4340 Airport Road in Riverton on Friday, July 12, 2013, starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home. Robert Butler will officiate. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Audrey Kay Paulsen was born on July 13, 1963 in Riverton, WY to Kenneth John and Cecelia Mary Ann (Piper) Paulsen. She attended schools in Riverton.

She as a life long resident of the Wind River Rez. She was of the Native American Faith.

On December 1, 1979 she married Barney Arguello in Riverton, WY. Together they had two children and were adoptive parents to many others.

She worked was the manager and co owner of the Rwayo’s Smoke Shop and Tattoo. In the past she had worked as an inventory manager for the U.S. National Guard, at Taco Time, Safeway, Arbys, and Taco Johns.

Her family said that she loved waking up to look at the Wind River Mountains and spending time with her children, grand children, and great grand children. Her family said she also loved to be right, her beer, shopping at Smith’s, four wheeler rides and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Barney of the family home; her son, Waylon Arguello and his wife, Desirae of Riverton; her daughter, Christion Pulver and her husband, David of Riverton; her grandchildren, Tori Arguello, Zephira Arguello, Kathy “Kayness” Arguello, Keaghan Thompson, David Pulzer Jr., Meagan Salaz, Stephanie Salaz, Jerome Salaz, Ruth Fischer, Dayton Enos, Jake Hoock, Nathan Wood, Eric Wood, Vanessa Wood, Danielle Wert, Isaiah Spoonhunter, Trevon Piper, Eugene Elk, Erin Elk, David Piper, Parker Elliott, and Misty Whitewolf; her great grandchildren, Lorenzo Sanchez, Xzavier Chacon, and baby Rettinghouse due soon; her adopted children, Robert Butler, Tim Cooper, Ryan Wood, Eugene Elk, Vernon Elk, Levi Hallock, Frank Weber, Lowell Piper, Lee Piper, Melissa Wear, Rosie Wert, Katherine Davis, Teesha Hand, Ashley Jensen, Darlene Deuel, Cecelia Paulsen, Stanely Shakespeare, and Curtis Paulsen; her brothers, Joel Elk, Tom Elk, John Paulsen, and Howard Paulsen; her sisters, Charlotte Jensen, Patricia Ditton, and Pansy (Tom) Hillman; her aunts, Marlene Wolfrange and family and Vera C’Hair and family; her uncles, Gilbert “Poopa” Piper, Charles “Old Goat” Piper; and the Montoya, Brown, Oldman, Piper families and the Antone Enos family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth John and Cecelia Mary Ann (Piper) Paulsen; her grandparents, Ralph and Bertha (Oldman) Piper, and Nina and John C’Hair; her aunt, Theresa Piper; her niece, Vanessa (Wood) Hoock, her grandson, Gabriel Arguello; and Andy Gonzales and Becky Warren Shongutsie.
