Albert Dodge, Sr., 81, of Arapahoe died at his home on Sunday, March 22, 2015, surrounded by his family. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Blue Sky Hall at 7:00 pm. A wake will follow at 336 17 Mile Road. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Friday Cemetery with military honors.

Albert Benjamin Dodge was born on July 17, 1933 in St. Stephens, WY to Benjamin and Winsom (Goggles) Dodge.

He joined the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was discharged in 1955.

On March 20, 1958 he married Estelle Friday at the St. Michael Mission in Ethete, WY.

He was the first bus driver and custodian for Wyoming Indian High School in 1972 and also worked for Wyoming Indian Elementary School. He was a crew boss for the Sho/Arap Firefighters during fire season. He worked for the BIA Roads and Irrigation until his retirement in 1998.

He enjoyed going to the Wyoming Indian Schools cross country, basketball, and track events. He loved traveling to watch his grandkids play and run in their sports. He also traveled with his grandkids to Denver March and Gathering of Nations Powwow. He enjoyed watching his grandson dance. He loved being with his grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids.

He is survived by his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, brothers, sisters, aunts, the Goggles family, Willow family, Dodge family, Friday family, Blake family, and all his relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughters, sons, granddaughters, grandsons, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and parents.
