Lynnette Ortiz, 58, of Riverton died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Help for Health Hospice Home. Memorial service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015, 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Riverton. A reception will follow at the Elk’s Lodge.

Lynnette Ortiz was born March 23, 1957 in Riverton to Gerard M. Ortiz, Jr. and JoAnn Elizabeth (Shriner) Ortiz Hartwell. She grew up in Riverton and was a life-long resident. She graduated with the RHS class of 1975.

She married Dennis Roy Hutchins. Together they had three sons. They later divorced.

Her family said her grandchildren were her world as well as her dog, Jose Cuervo. They said she absolutely enjoyed Disneyland and all the characters.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She worked in the Deli and Bakery of Woodward’s IGA until it’s closing and had been running the Deli and Bakery at Smith’s for many years.

She is survived by her three sons, Brian Hutchins and his wife Stacy, Nate Hutchins and his wife Heather, Jacob and his wife Sarah all of Riverton; eight grandchildren, Larry, Sidnee, Rylee, Luke, A.J., Sam, Emele, and Raylynn; father, Gerard M. Ortiz, Jr. and wife LaNette; step-father, Richard Hartwell; two brothers, Kelly Ortiz and wife Clara, Dave Harrison; three sisters, Charla LeClair and husband Mitch, Peggie Clark and husband Terry, Tina Ingwerson and husband Geoff; companion Glenn Fullmer of San Diego, CA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, her family at Smith’s Grocery in Riverton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Elizabeth (Shriner) Ortiz Hartwell; and sister, Michelle Jane Ortiz.

Memorials may be made to the Help for Health Hospice in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
