Morgan Bryant, 76, of Riverton died Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015 at the Sage West –Riverton Hospital. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Tacoma, Washington in August 2015.
Morgan Lee Bryant was born March 2, 1940 in Taylor Falls, Minnesota to Howard F. and Alice Margaret (Herman) Bryant. He graduated Clover Park High School with the class of 1958 in Tacoma. He attended the University of Washington.
On June 19, 1960 he married Patricia Ann Culver in Riverton. The couple lived in Tacoma twice for a total of 40 years. They also lived in Denver, Colorado from 1974 – 1984 and had moved back to Riverton 10 years ago.
Mr. Bryant was a Land Man exploring Oil, Gas, and Uranium Leases. The majority of his life he was self employed, but had worked for Rampart Exploration and had begun his working career as an electrical contractor.
His family said he enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, reading, and genealogy; but most of all spending time with his family and creating memories.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; two daughters, Tana Meginnis and husband Andrew of Newport Beach, CA, and Teresa Peterson and husband Bruce of Georgetown, CO; three grandchildren, Keila Meginnis, Ashton Meginnis and Margo Ackman; sister, Bonnie Taylor and husband John of Bremerton, WA; and mother-in-law, Pauline B Culver of Riverton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Alice; two sisters, Dorothy and Lois; two brothers, Jerry and Charles.
