John L. McCullough, 67, lifelong Fremont County resident, will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Cleve McSwain of the Pavillion Community Methodist Church officiating. Cremation has taken place. Mr. McCullough died at the Sage West Hospital - Riverton on Friday morning, January 19, 2016.

He was born July 9, 1948 in Riverton, Wyoming, son of Alvin E. and Lucille E. (Ingwerson) McCullough.

John grew up in Kinnear and graduated from Morton High School in 1967.

On December 27, 1990, he married Cynthia Lee (Orcutt) Davison.

John worked at the Saw Mill in Dubois, also worked as a rancher, truck driver for Newman Transit, driver for CMS and Koch Transit. He owned CJ Septic Service and worked for Fremont County Road and Bridge as a driver, where he retired.

Mr. McCullough loved watching WRHS boys’ sports. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gambling at the casino. John loved to dance and loved his grandkids dearly. He showed them the good spots and shared his passion of the outdoors.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Black Horse Troop in Dubois.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy L. McCullough of the family home in Kinnear; son, Daniel J. Davison of Pine Bluffs, WY; daughters, Rhonda L. and her husband, Kenny Haslam of Lander and Jessica Lynn Davison of Riverton; sister, Sharon and her husband, Ace Newkirk of Bayfield, CO; mother-in-law, Sylvia Orcutt of Moorcroft, WY; brother-in-law’s, Chuck and his wife, Mary Orcutt of TX, and Kevin Orcutt of Moorcroft, WY: sister-in-law, Kelly Orcutt of Kinnear; grandchildren, Ryan, Tanna, Michael, Taylor, Jaclyn and Jebrenna; great grandchildren, Trenton, Byron, Kyasha and Sharae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ron McCullough, son, Bryan “Spook McCullough”, granddaughter, Shasta Haslam and father-in-law, Charles Orcutt.
