Lynx Osterkorn, 56, of Riverton died on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Calvary Baptist Church. A pot luck will be held after the service.
Lynx Anne Osterkorn was born on February 5, 1960 in Syracuse, NY to Walter and Maryanne (Bain) Osterkorn. She lived in Syracuse, Arizona, and finally moved to Riverton in 1994..
She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Calvary Baptist Church.
She earned her GED for Central Wyoming College and then continued her education by receiving an Associate Degree in Automotive.
She collected dragons, dragon flies, wind chimes, and unique rocks. She loved holiday’s, taking her dog, “Mr. Moe”, with her everywhere, going to garage sales and thrift stores, and she cared and loved animals of all kinds.
She is survived by sons, Marshall Osterkorn and Ezeekiel Osterkorn; sister, Feline Osterkorn Johnston and her husband, Ronny Johnston; half-brother, Norman Snyder and his family; half-sister, Sherry Snyder and family; niece, Kira Johnston Scott and husband, Derek Scott; nephew, Wesley Johnston, Sr.; great nieces, Alana and Kaylee Scott; great nephews, Seth Scott and Wesley Johnston, Jr.; and aunt, Marylyn Osterkorn Ahlfeld and family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Walter “The Ox” Osterkorn and Maryanne Osterkorn; niece, Korie Johnston; and David Henze.
