Cheryl (Phillips) Sebring, 57, of Riverton died on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Sage West Hospital – Riverton. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. A lunch will follow at the Reach Club House at 12:00 noon.
Cheryl Ann Phillips was born on June 25, 1959 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Ila Mae Stafford and Russell Phillips. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Somerset County Vo-Tech in Bridgewater, NJ with the class of 1977. She also spent time in Florida before moving to Wyoming in 1997.
She spent most of her life as a server and for the last 9 years had worked at the Red Willow Restaurant at the Wind River Casino.
On April 25, 2007 she married Douglas Sebring.
She loved spending time her free time with her family and pets. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially going camping and fishing with her husband.
Cheryl was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Sebring; daughters, Rhonda Price and Lisa Sklaney-Potter; son, Army Staff Sergeant Michael Thomas and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Kaden Irizarry, Darian Kinsella, Tylar Nelson, Tyra Nelson, and Adriyanna Potter; step-children, Christopher Sebring and Chandler Sebring; brother, David Stafford and wife, Patricia; sister-in-law, Sandy Melendez; nieces, Michelle Martinez and husband, Jose, and Lindsay Lopes and husband, Juan; nephews, Sean and Daniel Melendez; and great nieces and nephews, Eric, Chris, and Adrian Martinez, Logan Burr, Camila and Marleni Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila Mae Melendez and her brother, Juan Melendez.
