Judith “Judy” Wilson, 67 of Riverton passed away on Monday, April 09, 2018, at the Help for Health Hospice Home. A Viewing will be held 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thurs, April 12th at Davis Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with Father Demetrio Penascoza officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Judith Elaine Johnson was born on June 16, 1950 in Lander, WY to Karl Martin and Mary Margaret (Barrett) Johnson. She was raised in Riverton with her three brothers and one sister. She graduated from Riverton High School with the Class of 1968 and attended Business Classes at Central Wyoming College.

She was baptized into the Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. She served on the Riverton Council of Catholic Women.

On September 3, 1971 she married the love of her life, Ray Wilson, in Cody, WY. They made their home in Riverton where they raised their two daughters, Sara and Janie.

She was also an active member of the Friends of the Library in Fremont County.

Judy worked at First Interstate Bank for 22 years before leaving to work as a Driver’s License Examiner for the State of Wyoming for the next 20 years before retiring. Not only did she work full time she was the local “Tupperware Lady” for over 23 years. Everyone knew if you needed Tupperware all you had to do was get in touch with Judy.

You could find her every day at the Riverton Aquatic Center doing her daily swimming. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing slots with her sister and daughters. She loved to watch her grandchildren in all of their activities and never missed one if she could help it, she also played cards with all of her family. Above all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ray Wilson; daughters, Sara Farrar and husband, Jason Farrar, and Janie Harford and husband, Dave; brothers, Charlie Johnson and fiance, Darcy and Tom Johnson and wife, Kim; sister, Karla Hughes and husband, Bruce; and grandchildren, Mariah Harford, Austin Locker, Tyler Farrar, Jason Harford, Chayse Wilson, Ian Harford, and Haley Harford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Mary Johnson; brother, Frank Johnson; and grandparents.
