Graveside services for Theresa Littleshield “Nii’bisiseet Bee’eet Hisei’ (Sunrise Red Woman),” 51, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary and Wake will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21st at 23 Red Crow, St. Stephens, WY.

Ms. Littleshield passed away on October 16, 2020 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Theresa was born on May 7, 1969, in Lander, Wyoming, daughter of Richard J. Littleshield, Jr. and Sarah D. (Friday) Littleshield.

She graduated from Riverton High School before attending Central Wyoming College and Casper College, graduating with an Associates of Science degree. Theresa traveled throughout the mid and western United States working as a surgical technician. She has lived in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Montana, California, but most recently Wyoming.

Ms. Littleshield enjoyed watching basketball, cooking, sewing, picking sage, picnics, as well as taking care of her family. Theresa lovingly raised all her nephews as her own.

Theresa was an active member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her parents, Richard and Sarah Littleshield; grandfather, Bobby Shakespeare; brothers, Richard J. Littleshield III, Bernard, Daniel, Neroy, Robert, and Rayburn Friday, Donald “Beans,” Fergie, Dominic, Dallas, Lawrence, and Reland Littleshield, and Mark, Wilbur, and Ramson Sewingyawma, and Prunel Charley; sisters, Nina and LaDonna Littleshield, Michaelene and Misty Friday, Celia Sewingyawma, Brooke Kootswtea, Ramsita Hohonni, Rhoda Sahu, Albertine Myron, Kelly Sabajo, Tanya Brown, and Patricia Headley; uncles, Melvin and Lloyd Littleshield; aunts, Victoria, Vernita, Francine, and Lanelle Shakespeare, and Ruth Big Lake; grandchildren, Kaylia, Salyce, Lane, Tylis Jr., and Daniel. And all other families of Littleshields, Shakespeares, Underwoods, Blakes, Fridays, and Sewingyawmas.

Ms. Littleshield was preceded in death by her grandparents, Daniel and Lydia Friday, Richard Sr. and Theresa Littleshield, and Wilbur and Violet Sewingyawma.
