Thomas George 'Tom' Wren

Thomas George "Tom" Wren

Nov 7, 1944 - Feb 14, 2009

On February 14th, 2009 Tom passed away peacefully in his sleep making the journey to be reunited with his valentine and beloved wife of 23 years Diane.

Tom was born in Stockton, California November 7, 1944 to parents Lester and Lucille Miller Wren. His parents divorced when he was an infant and his mother later married George Van Dorn of Craig, Colorado. Tom’s siblings were Myrna Martin, Carl Van Dorn, and Tom’s late brother Melvin Wren.

Tom was a free spirit; he had his own unique beliefs and ideas about life. Living life on his own terms took him on many great adventures in many places, from traveling with the rodeo riding wild bulls to building a log cabin in Alaska. Along the way he was fortunate enough to find love not once or twice but three times with his departed wives Toni, April and Diane.

Tom enjoyed old western movies, watching football in his recliner, midnight snacks, entertaining and cooking for loved ones and telling stories about the “good ole days”. He had a kind heart, a quick wit and an infectious laugh, if you ever had the pleasure of knowing Tom you could honestly say he is someone that you would never forget. He will forever be remembered and missed by his children Tracy, Tasha, Tammy, Todd, Darcy, Debbie, Kevin, Shawna, and Eric, and Grandchildren Randy, Braden, Logan, Chloe, Casey, Austin, Lexi, Brody, Nichole, Stephanie, Seth, Bobby, Samantha, Madison, Kevin, Eric, Brad, JD, Jacob, Michael, Dakota, Tyler, Travis, Shayna, Mike, Natasha, Renae, and Crystal along with his Great Grand kids Isaac, Tracy Ann, Gage, Riley, Tristen, Adara, Danika, Edgar, Mike Jr., and Lexi Marie.

We will miss you everyday until we see you again.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later dat
