Joshua Antelope

Funeral services for Joshua Thomas Antelope, 24, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2022 at Heritage Hall, Fremont County Fairgrounds.  Interment will follow at Wallowing Bull Cemetery.  A Wake will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Heritage Hall.

 

Mr. Antelope passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in California.

 

Joshua was born on May 2, 1999 in Lander, Wyoming.  He was raised in Wyoming until he was 18.  He graduated from charter school before moving to North Dakota where he remained for the next 2 years working for a hotel as well as a gas station.  He lived in Mariposa for 7 months before living in Rapid City, South Dakota while working at the Custer Resort.  Joshua also worked for a concrete company in Jackson, WY, Rusty Truck in Riverton, WY.

 

Some of the hobbies that Joshua enjoyed were cooking, graffitiing, skate boarding/longboarding, chilling and having a fun time with family.  He was a known comedian and tik-toker who also enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and taking walks as well as crafts, drawing, singing and reading.  Joshua was a loving brother who was always checking up on those he loved and always made sure his nephews and nieces were alright.  Joshua also gave a helping hand during Sundance and was of the Episcopal faith.

 

Survivors include his son, Jahseh Antelope; daughter, Jasper Antelope; brothers, Charles Antelope and Luis Zapata, Jr.; sisters, Bessie Antelope, Brianna Loneman, Arianna Zapata and Alexa Zapata.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa M. Antelope-Zapata; brothers, Nathan Loneman, Jr. and Isiah Antelope; sister, Natisa Antelope; grandparents, Edna Morrison, Fredrick Ronnie Antelope, Sr., Fred Antelope, Jr., Robert Antelope, Wendell Antelope Sr.; uncle, Mitchell Premioux; aunt, Tawnya Antelope-Duran; cousin, Wendell, Antelope, Jr.
