Derrick Jacobs, 28, of Riverton passed away on Saturday February 18,2023. A private service will be held at a later date.
Derrick Jacobs was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on July 6,1994. He attended schools in Lander, Shoshoni and graduated high school from Kelly Walsh in Casper.
He lived in the Riverton area for the last 10 plus years and worked in the oilfield.
Derrick enjoyed camping and fishing, winter sports, especially snowboarding.
Derrick was a very loving person he always had a smile on his face and was known to be very generous and kind.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Jacobs; siblings, Amanda Grant-Mock, Kenton Irvine, Jackie Irvine, Jenessa Hill, Garrett McCallister; step-brothers, James Peck and Paul Peck; his oldest niece, Macey Kay who was like a little sister to him; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and several close friends whom he considered family.
He was preceeded in death by his father, Willie D. Jacobs; step-mom, Janet Peck; brother, Mike Peck; and son, Uriah Jacobs.
