Graveside memorial services for Florence Elaine Brown, 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Mountain View Cemetery. She passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, Wyoming.
Florence was born on October 10, 1937, daughter of George and Lydia Fabrizius in Riverton, Wyoming. She graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1955.
On September 22, 1955, Florence married Garth Brown in Elko, Nevada. Due to Garth’s career at Kaiser Engineers, the family was able to travel to Jamaica, Tacoma, Washington, Guam and Africa. Florence worked as a waitress and manager at The Bull, Depot and Broker.
In Florence spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and socializing with people. She loved her pets and the time she spent as a foster grandmother for the School District 25.
Survivors include her children, Garth Brown, II, Jeri Whitaker and Don Brown; grandchildren, Parley Faller, Theron Whitaker, Jasper Whitaker, Treg Whitaker, Joshua Brown, Mayce Eyres, and Jonah Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garth Brown and her parents.
