Amanda L. Brown was born on August 8, 2003 at Missoula Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana to Lona Brown. At the age of 19, she passed away on June 14, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Billings, Montana surrounded by family. Amanda was raised by her Grandfather Harvey “Slim” Michael Brown due to an untimely death of her mother. She was raised in Missoula, Montana, Casper, Wyoming and Polson, Montana.

Amanda was a proud member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming. She grew up surrounded by her cousins, aunts and uncles. Amanda enjoyed growing up and helping with her little nieces and nephews as if they were her own siblings and was a mom to them also. She truly loved and cherished her Dad/Grandfather Slim and Delsa as her Mom. Her dad was her world as she was to him.

She met Bojai Schmidt Grant at a younger age in preschool and became close friends later in life. They moved to Butte, Montana and became a couple.

Amanda will be forever missed, her beautiful smile, her giggles, and her forever teasing. Amanda was a bright light in an already well-lit room and will be missed by many.

Amanda was preceded in death by her mother, Lona Brown; dad/grandfather, Harvey “Slim” Brown; uncles, Melvin “Snowflake” Brown, Joe Brown, Francis B. Brown, and Delphine Redcloud Brown.

Amanda is survived Francis and Roland Brown, Arlee, Montana; Taylor Brown and Toni Brown, Casper, Wyoming; Conway Brown, Idaho; Delsa Brown, Bozeman, Montana; Michael Brown, Kalispell, Montana; siblings/cousins/nieces/nephews: Carrie, Carmelita, Robert, Rapoh, Hunter Hiram, Brooklyn, Luliana Brown, and many more.

We would like to thank Jeremy Greenwood for being there for Amanda thru the tough times, also the St. James Healthcare in Butte, Montana and St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana.
