No services will be held for Lois A. Burch, 92, who passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Wind River Rehab and Wellness in Riverton, Wyoming. Cremation has taken place.
Lois was born on September 28, 1930, daughter of Simon W. and Wilda L. (Chase) Binegar in Sutherland, Nebraska.
In 1948, Lois graduated from high school in Sutherland, Nebraska. Soon after graduation, she married Billy C. Burch in North Platte, Nebraska on June 8, 1948. Throughout their marriage, they lived in Baggs, Rawlins and Thermopolis before making Riverton, Wyoming their home in 1965. Lois worked for Datel and Brunton and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Lois enjoyed spending her free time studying genealogy, quilting and needlework as well as camping and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Steven C. Burch of Winnemucca, Nevada and Thomas L. Burch of Riverton, WY; daughter, Susan D. (Lee) Heermann of Riverton, WY; brother, Marv Binegar of Oregon City, OR; sister, Dona Samuelson of Chester, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Burch and parents, Simon and Wilda Binegar; brother, Bill Binegar; sisters, Lola Wurl and Joy Steel; daughter-in-law, Kim Burch.
