Ella Loncsak

Ella Loncsak died at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton Thursday morning, Aug. 6, 2009. She was 91.

Cremation has taken place and her cremated remains will be buried in New Jersey.

Ella Grace Loncsak was born in New Brunswick, N.J. on Sept. 24, 1917, and lived most of her adult life in New York City, N.Y., and North Brunswick, N.J. She was the daughter of Louis and Esther (Simon) Loncsak.

During World War II, she was a "Rosie the riveter." Following the war, she worked for Neptune Meter Company, making and inspecting water meters until she retired after many years.

She was also employed as a sales associate by Macy's Herald Square Department store in New York City and also retired from that after many years of service.

Ms. Loncsak is survived by a daughter, Barbara Bruno; two grandchildren, Frank Bruno, Jr., and Nancy Bruno Espinosa; three great grandchildren, Gianna Bruno, Ashley Espinosa, and Ryan Espinosa.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
